AFL Academy – Tight Schedule & Delivery

Our belief is that the best way to educate kids is to have their education centred around their passion. And in this case, at The Academy, that’s AFL.

Obviously with setting up a school, there’s a lot of compliance issues and related matters that you have to go through. Initially, we only had a 3-4 week period where we had to have our site up for initial registration. We’d never done this before, we’d never built a school so we needed to find a team that would work with us and guide us; a team that we could trust.

Once we received approval from the government to be a registered school location, we were able to work with ARC on a really tight schedule. We were able to build 2 classrooms, an office space, and breakout rooms in around three weeks.

Whatever issue we had, ARC was there to work on a solution with us. It made it a really seamless experience for us because there was a lot of pressure to build a space in three weeks. The night before we had our registration walk through with the government, I know that Steve, who lead the project at that time, was here cleaning and making sure the space was all fine and was here on the day in case there was any questions. He was here when the auditors came through to check out the space which really put as at ease which was fantastic.

They felt like an extension of our team, they knew what was required and were really mindful of what we needed to do to run as a business.
