In July 2021 a fire engulfed a factory in Wacol, QLD containing a Food Storage Warehouse and Metal Manufacturer. ARC Projects were appointed to complete the Restoration & Rebuild on the extensive structure. The scope of works involved rectifying the damaged structure, which included repairing the structural steel, installing new purlins and girts, replacing the roof sheeting and installing new wall cladding. The fit out works also included an additional mezzanine level and modern office spaces.

The project was bound by strict time constrains to facilitate the re-occupancy of the premises by tenants and thereby minimising business interruption implications. ARC Projects delivered a timely completion of the reconstruction with efficient project management and coordination by the team. By promptly addressing structural issues with the Loss Adjuster and Insurer and installing new elements quickly, the warehouse was restored to full functionality without any delays.
