Building Stronger Communities Through the ARC Heart Project

At ARC Projects, Build Clean Lead Green (BCLG) is about creating a positive impact beyond the buildings we restore.
As part of this commitment, our BCLG team launched the ARC Heart Project, a community initiative dedicated to using our skills, people and partnerships to give back to the communities we serve.
The first ARC Heart Project saw ARC Projects renovate the African Youth Centre in Redbank Plains, creating a refreshed, safe and welcoming space for young people and their families.
Led by Ben Taylor, WHS Manager, and Charles Begg, Commercial Pre-Construction Manager, the project brought together ARC Projects employees and a network of local trade partners who generously donated their time, materials and expertise to make the renovation possible.
Transforming a Community Space
The renovation involved extensive refurbishment works to revitalise the centre and create a functional environment that will continue supporting the local community for years to come.
From project planning and trade coordination through to construction and quality delivery, the project reflected the same professionalism and care that ARC Projects brings to every insurance build. More importantly, it demonstrated the positive impact our industry can have when businesses come together with a shared purpose.
Giving Back Beyond the Build
With the renovation complete, members of the Build Clean Lead Green Sustainability Leadership Team returned to the centre for a volunteer day, donating their time to clean, paint and add the finishing touches ahead of the centre reopening.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our team to contribute beyond the build itself and reinforce what the ARC Heart Project is all about, creating lasting social impact through community involvement.
We are now looking forward to celebrating the completion of the first ARC Heart Project at the African Youth Centre Open Day in early August, where the ARC Projects team, our trade partners and the wider community will come together to celebrate this important milestone.
